The Waterweaver's Prophecy: Manuscript sent out (in Hungarian)

I finished editing the novel over the weekend (November 27, 2025). The synopsis was also completed for the publishers' editorial office, Attila Losonczy proofread it, and it was sent out!
Since it takes some time till I get a reply. I will tell you about the creation of The Water Weaver's Prophecy in the meantime to show you the significance of this milestone.
In 2018, my language school was still running, but it hadn't yet developed to the point where I could hire anyone, so I did everything myself. It was a very exciting and very tiring period, and I learned a lot during that time. However, I usually didn't have the energy to go anywhere after 9 p.m., and books and TV series bored me. I couldn't find any messages in them that gave me a new perspective or were capable of uplifting me beyond mere entertainment. That's why I decided that if I couldn't find the right reading material, I would write it myself!
On the advice of friends – just sit down and write! – I started, but it took a while for it to come together as a whole. In the meantime, life happened, and I didn't write anything for two years. However, in the summer of 2023, I made the decision to finish what I had started. By January 2024, the first draft of the manuscript was ready, and I began to learn how to write a story. As they say better late than never...
Finally, we arrived at the present moment:
- with a breakdown – they told me I couldn't write (I cried for a month whenever I thought about my novel)
- 5 writing courses
- approx. 14 rewrites and
- approx. 3650 hours of work later, which translates to more than 2 years at 8 hours a day.
However, I learned so much that I wrote 70% of the first version of the second – and final – book in two months.
Tip: if you want to write, I recommend that you first sign up for courses intended for writers. I can't tell you how much they help!
